Software Requirements:

 

Minimum PC Requirements:

  • Operating System: 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP Pro, Vista, Windows 7
  • Video resolution: 1024x768 or higher
  • Processor speed: 1 GHz or higher
  • RAM: 256 MBytes or greater

Installing the NEC DSX System Administrator (PC program tool) Software

 

  1. DO NOT connect your PC to the DSX system
  2. Download the latest version software
  3. DSX System Administrator Software, its always available for FREE here on our website http://www.allcleartelecom.com/SUPPORT.html
  4. Double-click the installer (i.e. DSXSysAdminSetup_Vxx.xx.xx.exe) extracted to your desktop
  5. Once the installation starts, give "positive" responses to each screen.
    1. "Positive" responses include Next, Install, Continue Anyway, OK and Finish)

 

Now Connect from your PC to the DSX control unit (USB)

 

  • We provided you with a 15' USB program cable


 

How to Start the NEC DSX System Administrator (PC program tool) Software

 

  • From your Windows desktop, click: Start + All Programs + NEC + DSX + DSX System Administrator

How to Access your Phone Systems Programming with the NEC DSX System Administrator (PC program tool) Software

 

  • From the left hand navigation click [New Connection]

 



How to Select Connection and Enter Password (USB)

 

  1. Select USB
  2. Enter Password 632379
  3. Click Remember after Connect
  4. Click [Connect] button (in bottom right)

 

 

  1. You now see the System, Configuration, Status page
  2. Under System note Software Version
  3. Configuration show you what the system is doing and what components are in it
  4. Status should say Connect over USB and System Status: Ready (if it does not you are not connected, start over)

 

 

 

How to Enter Programming area

 

  1. From the left hand navigation titled [DataBase] click [Edit]

 

 

  1. You now see the System Config page
  2. Click on the Green Arrow pointing down (Retrieve) Icon

 

 

  1. Look at the bottom, all your phone system current programming is downloading
  2. When done you have successfully downloaded your phone systems database

 

 

  1. You now have no Green Arrow Icon, its grayed out
  2. When you look at each program you are seeing it in real time and what you see is what is programmed in your phone system.

 

 

  1. Congratulations your now ready to make your program changes
